Find My iPhone: Shows whether the iPhone/iPad has Find My iPhone enabled.
Note: Not all serial numbers are supported.
Check Find My iPhone status before you buy, sell, or service a device
This instant check is designed to show whether Find My iPhone is currently reported as ON or OFF for a supported Apple device. It is useful if you are verifying a second-hand iPhone or iPad, preparing a device for resale, checking activation status before repair, or confirming whether a device may still be linked to an Apple account.
At TezUnlock, this service is intended for users who need a quick status lookup based on a valid device identifier. The result is informational: it helps you understand the current FMI state, but it does not remove iCloud, bypass Activation Lock, or change any Apple account settings. Because Apple coverage varies by model and identifier type, some serial numbers may not return a result.
Supported models / scope
- Apple iPhone models where FMI status is available through the submitted identifier, including many devices from older iPhone generations through more recent supported units.
- Apple iPad models, including standard iPad, iPad mini, iPad Air, and iPad Pro, when the serial number or IMEI is supported by the check source.
- Wi-Fi + Cellular Apple devices are commonly checked by IMEI; Wi-Fi only iPads are often checked by serial number where supported.
- Devices previously used on carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, EE, O2, Vodafone, Orange, Telstra, and other regional networks may be eligible if the Apple identifier can be matched.
- This is a status check only. It does not carrier unlock the device, remove Apple ID, disable Find My, or alter activation records.
- Not all serial numbers are supported. If the identifier is not recognized or not available in the source, the check may return unavailable or no result.
How it works
- You submit the device identifier, usually the IMEI for cellular models or the serial number for supported Apple devices.
- We run the identifier through the instant check system to see whether Find My iPhone is reported as enabled or disabled.
- You receive the result, typically shown as FMI ON or FMI OFF, along with the device details returned by the check when available.
- If the submitted serial number is not supported, the system may return no data or an unsupported result. In that case, you may need to verify the identifier and try again with the correct IMEI or serial.
What we need from you
- The device IMEI for iPhone or iPad cellular models, entered exactly as shown.
- Or the device serial number for supported Apple models, especially Wi-Fi only iPads.
- The correct device type if you are unsure whether the identifier belongs to an iPhone or iPad.
- A carefully checked submission. One wrong digit can cause a wrong-device match, unsupported response, or no result.
- If available, the full identifier copied directly from the device, box, SIM tray, settings menu, or original purchase record to reduce entry mistakes.
Delivery & turnaround
This is listed as an instant service, and in most cases the result is returned within a few seconds to a few minutes after submission. Instant checks are suitable when you need a quick verification before a purchase, listing, repair intake, or stock review.
Even with instant services, delays can occasionally occur due to temporary source issues, unsupported identifiers, queue load, or Apple record mismatches. If a result does not appear immediately, please allow a reasonable processing window before resubmitting. Repeated submissions of the same identifier are usually unnecessary unless the first entry contained an error.
